‘The local organising committee of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, which will be hosted by New Zealand and Australia, has appointed a joint venture of Nine Live and Spotless Group to provide hospitality services for the tournament,’ stated an early September press release.
These services include sales, marketing and event management of the tournament’s hospitality program – ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Hospitality – and will be offered across all 14 venues and 49 matches during February and March 2015.
“The ICC Cricket World Cup is one of the biggest events in global sport and we will be offering world class hospitality,” said Cricket World Cup 2015 Ltd chief executive John Harnden. “We expect high demand from global companies, local businesses and individual cricket fans. The 50-over format in the World Cup is a fantastic opportunity to spend quality time whether with business clients, colleagues or family and friends.”
Spotless Group CEO, Bruce Dixon is excited about the future potential of the partnership. “Spotless is ecstatic to have been appointed as a hospitality partner for the International Cricket Council’s flagship event,” he commented. “Partnering with Nine Live will enable us to strengthen our existing commitments and relationship with the sport and to extend our service offering in stadium markets across Australia and New Zealand. We look forward to delivering outstanding outcomes for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.”
