OCS New Zealand has appointed Gareth Marriott as its new managing director.
The role, however, isn’t entirely new for Mr Marriott. He has been the acting managing director for OCS New Zealand for the past seven months.
‘Now that his position has been made permanent, Mr Marriott is looking forward to building on the work he and the OCS New Zealand team have achieved in the past year,’ stated the company’s press announcement.
“In my seven months as acting managing director, I’ve been impressed with our people at OCS New Zealand and the achievements they have made to our overall results,” he said. “I look forward to working with them to take OCS to the next level in 2016.”
‘Mr Marriott is a high-performing member of the OCS global management team, having steered some key business achievements for OCS Australia and the Australasia and North Asia region, since he started with the company in 2012,’ noted OCS.
‘Along with his continuing role as managing director of OCS New Zealand, Mr Marriott is an executive director for Australia, New Zealand and China, and the regional sales director for Australasia and North Asia. He is also the executive director of Integrated Property Services Australia (IPS) Limited, which is owned by OCS Australia.’
Up until the start of January, Mr Marriott was the managing director for OCS Australia. ‘He has also been the recipient of the OCS Global Chairman Award for Growth in the Aviation Sector and the Global Cannon Award Winner for two consecutive years (2013 and 2014).’
Global CEO Peter Slator sais he was delighted to announce Mr Marriott’s appointment as OCS New Zealand’s managing director. “This builds on the good work he has been doing across Australia and New Zealand,” Mr Slator commented.
Along with his work with OCS, Mr Marriott has considerable national management experience for high profile companies in Australia including Chubb Security and Officeworks.
