Kennards Hire expands to Kalgoorlie

The 4300sqm branch will focus on mining and resource projects in the region.

Family-owned and operated supplier of hire equipment Kennards Hire has expanded operations into the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, with a new location in Kalgoorlie.

The 4300sqm branch will focus on mining and resource projects in the region, with the site to  hold highly specialised and niche industry equipment to meet the growing demands in the area.

The branch range will include an extensive suite of tools and equipment to support local trades, commercial and residential construction, tourist and recreational industries.

To enhance the product offering, branch equipment fitted with Cloud-based and Bluetooth equipment tracking technology will allow access to real-time data, which can help with preventative equipment maintenance and monitoring equipment efficiencies.

Hugh McKenzie, branch manager, said, “It’s great to be operational in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder region. We’ve got a lot to offer customers and the local community. There’s plenty of opportunity and growth in the region.”

“We’re excited to be in town and are keen to show what we’ve got to offer – top quality and reliable equipment, great service and tailored solutions for the management of any project.”

Last month Kennards Hire announced a number of senior leadership changes as it ramps up its operations across Australia and New Zealand. The announcement followed the launch of its 2019 major brand campaign to market, ‘Count on Kennards’ in September.
