About The Author
Alan Hardcastle has been a business and industry journalist for 33 years. Following a financial journalist cadetship with Sydney's Daily & Sunday Telegraphs in the early 1970s, he moved into specialist business magazines, working on various titles in Sydney, Hong Kong and London.

In the mid-1980s Alan was appointed publishing director for Thomson Publications Australia, then the country's largest trade press house.

The late 1980s were spent consulting... and in 1991 Hardcastle Media acquired INCLEAN magazine from Trade News Corporation.
