ISSA/Interclean innovation award shortlist

The international trade jury of the ISSA/INTERCLEAN Innovation Award has selected nine candidates from a total of 82 entries (a 7% increase in comparison to the 2008 awards). ‘This increase underlines that innovation is viewed as one of the principal elements of successfully running a business, even in times of crisis,’ noted the press release. The overall winner and the category winners of this prestigious, international prize for the best innovation in professional cleaning will be announced during the trade show's opening on Monday 26 April 2010.

ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam will take place from Monday 26 to Thursday 29 April 2010 at the Amsterdam RAI.

The award has three categories being machines, accessories and components; equipment/tools for cleaning, care and safety; and cleaning management and training solutions.

* Baudoin Wash-Systems for the Travelator Cleaner

* MGS International for the F.I.T. Floormop Injection Tool

* The Clean Air Factory for the product BLOE Connect, a unit fitted between a toilet bowl and the wall

* Alpheios International B.V. for the product Vive Sustainability Scan

* Avista Time for the product Avista Entré, a commercial time and attendance management product for service providers
