ED Oates to buy Research Products

In what is seemingly a good fit, ED Oates, a subsidiary of public company GUD Holdings, has reached an agreement to buy the Wedina Holdings’ family of brands being Research Products, Citrus Resources and Dry Fusion.

“Over the past few months the due diligence process has been underway with the support of the GUD board and management. Final purchase and signed agreements are being confirmed this week,” stated ED Oates’ chief executive officer David Birch.

“The management team here at Oates is delighted with the opportunity this presents to our business and of course to our national team. We are also delighted that throughout this process the shared business philosophies and vision for this business between Oates, GUD, and Research Products’ owner Elizabeth Goldsmith provided the strong basis for this agreement and purchase,” he added.

Birch assured all customers that ED Oates will “maintain a ‘business as usual’ approach while we engage them in continuing the strong and valued partnerships that exist. And thereafter to ensure the national structure and professional teams here at Oates work with all customers in growing this business.”
