CleanScene adds value with Safety traffic
- Dateline: 20.05.2009
The National Cleaning & Hygiene Expo, CleanScene, will not only showcase the latest in cleaning equipment and supplies, it will also have the significant benefit of being co-located with the highly successful The Safety Show. CleanScene will be held at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park between 27 and 29 October this year.
Featuring interactive product demonstration areas, CleanScene will allow visitors an ideal opportunity to witness, first hand, a whole new range of cleaning products, services and technologies. A number of products will be launched into the marketplace during the Show.
“This co-location is perfect for both the safety and cleaning industries,” noted Marie Kinsella, managing director of organiser Australian Exhibitions & Conferences (AEC) Pty Ltd. “OHS legislation requires that all employers ensure the health, safety and welfare at work of all employees. Clearly a clean workplace can be a contributing factor when it comes to meeting those requirements.”
The range of products, services and technologies at CleanScene will provide employers with fresh opportunities to clean and maintain their workplace in their continuing effort to ensure a healthy and safe working environment for their employees. Moreover, CleanScene will provide employers with a range of cost-effective and environmentally friendly products and services.
“It is just common sense,” continued Kinsella, “a cleaner workplace is, by definition, healthier and safer and really can help reduce those risks.”
Certainly key industry players Nayla, Oates and Powersweep are keen to take advantage of the synergy. They are three of more than 30 companies that have already confirmed their commitment to CleanScene.
Nayla confirmed its participation shortly after CleanScene was launched. It will be exhibiting for numerous reasons… “to promote awareness of our Sebo brand and to launch two new products into the marketplace,” explained product manager Kristine Collins. “The other appeal was the ability to reach other industries with the combination of CleanScene together with The Safety and Materials Handling Show all in one,” she added.
CleanScene will also be of interest to industries requiring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene, such as healthcare, aged care, hospitality, food and beverage companies and the public sector. It will also include feature areas, networking opportunities and live demonstration areas.
